Juicy Stovetop Burgers

Yum! When you hear that sizzle of meat on the stove and find out that it's burgers in the stove, you can't help but drool in delight!

There are basically two ways in making a good juicy burger, but I will teach you how to make a burger using a stovetop, since not everyone has a grill.

Still being disputed about the origin between Germany and the United States, a burger is a type of sandwich that contains one ore more cooked patties of ground meat, placed inside a sliced bread roll or a bun. The ground meat can be pan fried, smoked, flame broiled or grilled. They can be served with condiments.

Ingredients!

Ground beef (a quarter pound per person)

Oil (preferably olive oil)

Garlic Powder

Curry Powder

Salt (Preferably sea salt)

Pepper (any pepper seasoning would do)

Sauce (get Worcestershire sauce if you can. Any other sauce with a special kick is good enough too)

Condiments!

The condiments are optional so go crazy on them! Here are some of the popular ingredients and condiments in a burger:

Cheese, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickles, bacon, onions etc. Note that these are to be added after the meat is cooked.

Ketchup, mustard, honey mustard, sweet ranch dressing, mayonnaise etc.

Note: Let's be real. To have a juicy burger, most of the juices inside the meat must be there throughout the cooking process. Therefore, take important caution to not overwork the meat by constantly touching, moving or pressing the meat or it wouldn't be a juicy meat.

How to make Juicy Stovetop Burgers with steps!

1) Get and put all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Use the amount to your discretion. Work through the meat until everything is together, but do not over work the meat!

2) Shape the seasoned meat into a centimeter thick patties. Make a thumbprint in the center of each patty to avoid the burgers from bulging out during the cooking process.

3) Get a pan and heat up the stove to a medium high heat. Put the patties in and cook for about five minutes with the lid closed until browned on the bottom and the juices from the meat are no longer red.

Note: Do not touch, press, push or move the meat at all.

Flip them over and cook for another two minutes if you want medium rare or cook until it is well done. Use your discretion to cook to your taste.

4) Remove the patties from the heat and let them rest before putting them on a bun.

Feel free to use the ingredients and condiments to your taste!

I can smell the scent of those burgers already! Chow down on those hot and juicy stovetop burgers! Yum!
