Vanilla Ice Cream - Bag Method

Ice cream is probably the first cold and sweet treat you'll think about when someone asks you a question about it! There are so many varieties and so many styles of doing ice cream that anyone can learn how to do it if they really want to. Ice cream is a sweet but frozen food normally eaten as a snack. 

Believed to be originated in Persia, ice cream is typically made from milk and is mixed with a sweetner (typically sugar)and a spice (in this case, vanilla extract) with random but typically sweet toppings (such as chocolate, cherries and wafers. 

Ingredients!

Ingredients In making this variation of vanilla ice cream, you must have ice (crushed), salt, sugar, milk and a vanilla extract. In this method of making vanilla ice cream, we are going to use the ice cream in a bag method.

How to make vanilla ice cream in steps 

1) Using a resealable bag (like Ziplock) add milk, sugar, vanilla extract and cream (if you have) inside the big bag and make sure to remove the air out of the bag. 

 2) Shake the contents together to combine the ingredients. 

 3) Get a bigger resealable bag and add crushed ice and pour salt on the ice. Seal the bag up and simply shake the contents. 

 4) After that, place the smaller bag containing the milk, sugar, vanilla extract and cream inside the bigger bag containing the crushed salty ice. Seal the bigger bag back again. This means that the smaller bag should be sitting inside the bigger bag, surrounded by ice. 

 5) Grabbing the bag, you shake the contents for about five minutes, noting that the smaller bag inside should be hardening. It would be advisable to wear kitchen gloves for the bag would be too cold for your fingertips. 

 6) after five minutes, the contents inside should be hardened and more semi-solid. Drop the bag on the kichen counter or a kitchen cloth for a few minutes, making sure that the ice is surrounding the smaller bag very well. 

7) Open the big bag and grab the smaller bag inside it. Quickly rinse off the saltwater from the bag. 8) Scoop out the vanilla ice cream from the small bag and place it on a cup, bowl or cone, You can now enjoy your delicious and sweet vanilla ice cream! And don't forget to add your favorite toppings!
